Faris Saah - Portfolio Manager / Trader
+25 years of experience in both the traditional and alternative credit markets.
Mr. Saah served as a Senior Advisor to large asset managers in the US, China and the Middle East. In addition, he continues to work as a Senior Lecturer at Harvard University where he teaches graduate level finance and alternative asset management courses.
Mr. Saah was a Managing Director and Head of Credit Research at Blackstone Credit (GSO) where he chaired the investment committee and served on the executive committee. In this role, Mr. Saah was responsible for co-managing CLO, SMA and BDC assets.
Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Saah was a Senior Investor at Pequot Capital Management where he supported the management of over $800mm in credit hedge fund assets. He consistently produced over 40% of fund returns from 2001 – 2009.
Mr. Saah began his career as an investment banker at Morgan Stanley working specifically in leveraged finance and the independent power space.

Peter Kiernan - Portfolio Manager / Credit Investor

Peter Kiernan is a Senior Credit Research Analyst
He previously joined CBAM Partners as one of the founding employees in 2016. He worked as a Credit Analyst covering the Telecommunications, Media, and Cable industries in the US.
He helped build CBAM's US CLO business to $13bn of AUM across 15 CLOs. Then in 2020 he started the European CLO business in Paris, which grew to €1.3bn of AUM across 4 CLOs.
In 2022 CBAM Partners was sold to Carlyle for approx. $800mm.
Before CBAM, Peter worked for Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division covering Capital Markets in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.
Peter graduated from University of Virginia in 2014 with a B.A. in American Studies.
